Yeah this is another part of why I stopped duel links for a while, because I just highly disagree with the route all YGO seems to be taking in how the game revolves around how much you can special summon in a turn and get your board set up and protected before the opponent can react. Going off of duellogs vids, it just sounds like it's about who can play their own game first before the opponent can respond, and I personally think an ideal card game is one where both sides have to have some kind of interaction in order to win. Basically what MikeTavish said as well, about jsut comboing half your deck in a turn. It feels like YGO has been this for ages. All the good archetypes just vomit creatures out of your deck until you win, and there isn't a different enough feel between them. That's what I remember anyway, I haven't played for a while.
