I mean, I get why they are doing it, but everyone who got it already is just you know, out of luck. Also, why 1 mill, just make it 50 people per week get $100k and make it tax free.

Seriously 1 mill is gonna be almost half that after taxes anyway, and 500k while a ton and life changing for 1 person, isn't going to have nearly as much of an effect as 100k would for 50 people. If they do that every week for 2 months, that is 400 people who would get $100k.

There is less then 12million people total in Ohio, and 30% of em are too young to qualify for the vaccine. That leaves about 8 million people. Of those 8 million 4.27 million have been fully vacinated already (more have just had one shot, so would not qualify for the lottery).

That means less than 4 million people could qualify, so 400 people is 1 in 10k people would get 100k, best lottery chances ever.

With it only being 5 people you make it 1 in 100k people, not nearly as good odds (still bad odds mind you, but....would certainly motivate people to get the shot!).
