im glad i interviewed with multiple companies when i was looking for a job. i thought i was a sure hire with this one company when i saw the ad for my current job. i applied with minimal effort and just before my interview with my second one, i got rejected from the first time.

second job turned out waaaaaaaay better. like, i make twice a much, the commute is better (i can even work from home) and i have a lot more freedom and responsibility.

i say that because usually i focus on one job app at a time. never again.

Yeah I always think its best to line up as many opportunities as possible. So then you have the upper hand when it comes to offers. Im debating applying to a few roles too, just to see how many I can line up.

What do you mean by shady, what did he do you know about, and what the likely/unlikely rumors are.

He over promises and under delivers. Has his clear favorites that he will create opportunities for while telling others he has their best interests at heart. He talks behind everyones backs and doesnt get along with most people. He got fired from my last company because they found out he lied on his resume.

But I was mostly on his good side so he never bothered me and let me work very independently.
