Topic	Why do managers care if you take time off?

Where I work, the store's manager had been there from the time it opened @2006 until he was forced by corporate to transfer to another store back in 2016 after 3 guns disappeared. Since then, we've gone through about 4 store managers. One quit when regional came to have a talk with him about something, he stood up, took off his radio headset and said "I'm going to go work with my wife instead!" and walked out.
