It feels like Capcom has abandoned every other Raccoon City character while Chris has now been playable in four consecutive mainline games. I can't recall if any other main character was even mentioned in this game.

Chris is clearly the main character of the series, which is odd. I don't really think he's anyone's favorite character? But he's at least the most memeable, so he has that going for him.
