new vegas isnt complicated whatsoever. it's very simplistic and straightforward in basically everything it says. an enormous portion of it is satire, they literally are trying to make you laugh with most of it and want you to pick up on what they are trying to say. none of that makes it badly written or a poor political commentary at all, but the fact that you think it's somehow really depthful and had to write up entire paragraphs explaining what are basically jokes you could find in a mel brooks movie speaks way louder about your comprehension of this subject than anything else you could say

See, but that's exactly my point. New Vegas isn't complicated in it's politics, it makes satire of political things for laughs. You and I are on the same page here, that's what makes New Vegas great. Games shouldn't be these serious things that dissect political issues in the real world, they should point at them and laugh. I don't know why anyone would advocate for anything else.
