On Standard, the game is just hurling ammo at me from so many sources that I'm legit having trouble using it all. Very curious if it's tuned more tightly on Hardcore. For me, the intro survival part was way too brutal on Hardcore. I just couldnt get through it, whereas on standard it wasnt even a problem. Kinda like the intro Mia fight in 7 actually. I hear Hardcore is actually a well balanced challenger outside of the beginning hour or so, but at the time that was enough to scare me away.
