I even played the rhythm and fighting spinoffs.I would say you should need to complete the main story quest of FF14, yes. The main story quest is a bunch of solo fights, long FF style cutscenes, with the occasional 4 player dungeon and 8 player boss fight. You can ignore basically all of the MMO aspects (you don't need to ever enter a single raid, you don't need to socialize, you don't need a single person on your friends list, you don't need to buy or decorate a house, you can unsub after 30 days). But if you don't know who Emet-Selch is, no you haven't beaten every FF game. (I don't know if FF11 has something equivalent, though). --- Cats land on their feet.
