The Switch in 2020 was behind only the DS in 2008 and 2009 for the most sales of any system in one fiscal year. Amazing sales. Out of curiosity, what the heck was it that made the DS sell more than any other system in any given year in those particular years? Especially considering that was already several years into the system's lifetime (2009 in particular was closer to the release of the 3DS than to the release of the DS).
