I just drove the QX50 and I loved it. So I am going with Infiniti. I am shocked to see so many people downing it. IT felt great.

I do like how the Infiniti Q line looks they look cool
i was shocked that theres no love for Infiniti too I didnt know they were that unreliable on average, but yeah I was considering some type of Q type.

I like these comments about them being very similiar.

Acura, Lexus, Infiniti, are literally just rebadges of Honda, Toyota, Nissan mostly for the US market.
If you look at some you'll notice this through history. Honda NSX was/is sold under Acura NSX, same for the Integra. Toyota Soarer is the Lexus SC###, Toyota Aristo are GS, etc.

The reason they're a "fancier" brand is because of past wariness. It's literally the same car, but Americans feel uncomfortable with buying a Toyota for a high price, because it's a cheap Japanese brand. It sounds dumb, but it totally works...
In Japan and some other markets they're still the original name/model. Things like the Nissan numbers and letters thing also stemmed from this, the Fairlady became 240Z, cuz it "sounds cool"

There was also the Volkswagen Phaeton that competed with and sometimes surpassed the 100k usd offerings from Mercedes and others, but people literally don't know what it is because it looks like a VW Jetta.

As for which to get... I prefer Lexus or Acura over Infiniti. As much as I like my Renaults, they've dragged Nissan/Infiniti into their "lets suck now" crew with Mitsubishi.

that makes completely sense, because at some point in time I noticed that a model of the skyline in Japan is called Infiniti here

wow though thats funny, Mitsubishi is a lower tier brand nowadays Im assuming then?

Lexus >> Acura >>>>>>> Infiniti.

Nissan turned to shit sometime between like 2000-2005.

And yeah, look at a hyundai genesis as well. though i'd avoid one with a panoramic roof, ive heard multiple of them leaking.

thats so wild, Im glad I asked then. Thats a long time for Infiniti to drop the ball

And oh, yeah Ill take your advice on that leaky roofs are no fun lol
