But what we really need is to have the work week cut to 30 hours. With the unemployment that we have and with how much productivity we squeeze from workers, we can afford to pay more per hour and cut hours to improve the quality of life. It's just not profitable to do that, so we don't do it.
Absolutely. I meant to say in my initial post that wages should definitely be adjusted.
