The 3 states I've worked in (Alaska, Minnesota, Iowa) all paid decently for manufacturing.

Perhaps if you tried presenting your case as an adult vs acting like an attention starved toddler you'd be taken seriously? Idk, its worth a shot.

This is Greenup Kentucky, and it's borderline third world. The only thing keeping anything alive in this entire area is Huntington, WV.

So this place might not be the best indicator of factories overall, but it is a good indicator of how poor small town factories are, I think.
