K. But why would/should he? Like I said, if anything, it would have an adverse affect on productivity and morale. He does that and he basically gets them thinking "hey...this guy really does just have thousands of dollars to throw around for absolutely no reason! Maybe if we complain enough he'll do it again!"

I don't recall what the business was, but 5ish years ago some idiot tried running a business the way the kiddos on CE want: paid employees WAY more than the work was worth, chill with rules and titles, basically how a child would run a business. Lo and behold, profits sucked, employees walked all over him, and the business went under. It was a big story for a time
