I was very good at my job. Did me no good to bullshit someone only to have them quit a few days later. I was very frank and basically told them "its not fun, you can't come and go as you please you have to work your shift. BUT if you can show up on time and do the job ill keep you as long as you want to be here, we don't lay off good workers (which was true)" Tall order lol, they'd rather go goof off with their buddies in retail --- "You go.
