Granted I haven't followed closely since their announcement, but I believe you are correct in that Target gave people pay bumps or start out higher due to the pandemic. However, Target being a greedy retailer who relies on people taking things at face value and doing no research after "good thing" is announced, they slashed hours, and many people ended up making less because they were working less. Target ended up taking down their FB ads promoting this because the comments sections were FULL of employees calling them out for cutting hours after raising pay. So someone who was making let's say $10/hr @ 40hrs/wk gets bumped to $15/hr and is now working 10-20 hrs/wk, tops --- "You go. I'm just going to stare at the lake and think about how I almost just killed a baby." ... Copied to Clipboard! |
