Topic | American factories are desperate for workers. It's a $1 trillion problem.... |
PoundGarden 05/04/21 1:31:12 PM #29: | ZannoL posted... Not much at all. It's hard work and very little pay. As someone who has worked in HR and recruiting for a few factories, allow me to say you're completely full of shit. Most factory work isn't "hard". Its mind numbingly boring and repetitive. Most "factory jobs" start at about $13-$18+ per hour. The reason for the labor shortage is young people don't waaaaant to work in a factory and would rather fuck around with their friends at Target for $9/hr 20 hrs a week and bitch about it online. I cannot tell you how many dumb fuck teenagers walked out of orientation for $16/hr no experience needed jobs because "this seems boring". And we wonder why China is fucking us into the dirt. --- "You go. I'm just going to stare at the lake and think about how I almost just killed a baby." ... Copied to Clipboard! |
