I am glad that this trilogy has lasted and come to the future generations but how long can a series with dated special effects appeal to younger generations with zero new content. nothing Star Wars has come out since the return of the Jedi (not counting repackaging). its a great story and very well written trilogy following the formula of the heroes journey almost to a T. there arent many other trilogies out there that can compete with it or be as popular but it will only last so long if they dont make something viable and interesting besides video game spin offs.
