To be honest i dont think it constitues cheating of you break it off at soonest possible moment.

Call it cheating if you want but I was in a relationship that to be honest there was no love and I had gotten bored of it. Someone I was interested came along and tried to make some moves on me. I stopped them long enough to call my bf and tell him it was over. Now had he say been at work or something where I couldnt reach him. I may have proceeded and just called him when he got off or the next day.

To me it aint really cheating unless you make any attempt to hide it for any period of time. Cause to me cheating insinuates trying to keep your bf/gf while fucking around on the side
