So if you want accurate news you have to fact check everything through multiple sources. This, so very, very much. But it's not a terrible idea to start with AP and Reuters directly (before their stories are filtered through everyone else's biases) as a good jumping-off point. Especially since most news sources you read/watch are just going to be rehashing the stories from AP and Reuters anyway. With the base story from them, you can do a bit of digging to fact-check.and verify. ALWAYS remember that repetition doesn't always equal veracity, though. A dozen sites repeating the exact same version of a story might just be repeating ONE source's flawed story over and over.
