Never heard anyone talk about Soul. Onward was like a mid tier DreamWorks movie, Toy Story 4 was not terrible but shockingly unnecessary, and Incredibles 2 was also fine but a huge dissapointment. The release of their worst movie, Cars 2, with their second worst movie right after, Brave, and their tied for second worst movie just a couple later, The Good Dinosaur, was really a downward spiral they are struggling to recover from. Inside Out feels like luck that it was fine. Coco at this point doesn't look like "Another Pixar hit", it's a shocking return to form from a dying studio. I guess we'll see how Luca goes. --- ...
