Isekai is a/the recent fad, so you see a lot of isekai with long names. Go back to the 70s and you can see a similar effect with everyone chasing Yamato's success, and probably Astro Boy's predating that (i.e. two name schemes for a lot of early robots/sci-fi, then a switch to three name schemes in the 70s/80s). <cite>Juhanor posted [p:953296295] in What the h...
