I wouldn't rule out the same thing happening in a Melee vs. Ultimate scenario. Also, rally power is overrated. The only reason I see for Melee to straight up beat Ultimate (save for rallies) is that the casual Smash fanbase may have reduced with the site's decline over the years, and therefore the hardcore fanbase getting stronger. --- azuarc - Good friend, VGM lover, Guru Champion.
