why matic and grt?

matic:
maybe it's just hype but i'm under the impression that polygon is the gold standard of ethereum sidechains, and will play a major role as a layer-2 solution to ethereum's growing pains / ballooning transaction/gas costs.

grt:
the token of the graph network, which does large scale indexing of smart contract data on the various blockchains it has integrated with, allowing for more resource/cost effective data retrieval and analysis for the entire ecosystem, regardless of chain. primarily used in defi at the moment, helping to power the likes of uniswap and pancakeswap.

doesn't seem to have any major competitors at the moment (save for the avax-based covalent, which has yet to launch on the blockchain, let alone decentralize), has a working product that was in development for 2-3 years prior to launching late last year, is backed by some major players in the space including coinbase ventures, and usage by customers is increasing exponentially - which stakers receive around a 10% cut of with additional rewards from the protocol.

price action is largely market psychology at the moment since queries are very cheap and token eps is very low taking supply and volume into consideration, but if the current growth trajectory holds up, it will become a crown jewel over the next several years.
