Get it? Because she has purple hair in human form, but black hair in cat form? So, she has two different hair colors. Ahahaha I am a genius of hint-giving. According to TVTropes, Yoruichi may not actually be Japanese. Well, I listed her as Asian in the race category, and I say that my Excel sheet takes priority over TVTropes editors. By the way, apparently Yoruichi got announced for Jump Force during this very waifu topic? Good for her.

Yoruichi was actually one of the few Bleach characters I already knew prior to this waifu ranking and the hour-long Bleach video I watched (its mostly an Irish guy complaining about what happens post-Soul Society. Yoruichi is only in it insofar as he also complains about another mascot character also turning into a hot chick later in the series). I just want to say this: Yoruichis dub voice sounds nothing like I envisioned. She sounds barely interested in whats going on. Like, shes clearly teasing Ichigo, but the actress is just so, so bad.

Anyway, Ill say this: I scoured through the entire Bleach Wiki, and I can confidently say that Yoruichis the hottest Bleach girl. In fact, shes also hotter than any Naruto girl, and One Piece girls dont even count because the art style is so weird, so of Shonen Jumps Big Three, shes the most attractive waifu. Congratulations.

As you may have noticed, I have a soft spot for witty, teasing waifus, and thats basically her entire thing. I guess it could be a problem that she likes to just go butt-naked to get a rise out of people, but hey, she mostly wears clothes most of the time. You might think that since shes technically a princess, shed get bonus points for that, but she gave that up, so no. And Im not giving her points for being such a good fighter, especially since half of the videos of her are just her appearing in the middle of some enemies, the screen goes white, and everyone is knocked away as she flashes around. If I was rating waifus based on their impressive combat animation, Yoruichi would not do well. But in all seriousness, shes very personable and fun, which makes for a great Personality score.

I might actually be slightly overrated her Girlfriendness, since she edges on adventurer territory and spends half her time in weirdo alternate worlds fighting monsters and grim reapers and flashing teenage boys, but its fine.

To be clear: Yoruichi is a really fun waifu and character, but her job clearly is going to be a problem for any sort of relationship unless you are also an adventurer who deals in swordfights with weirdos, and her personality, while extremely fun, is probably not going to help matters. I dont really see this working out long term? Honestly, shes sort of more interesting to analyze from a non-waifu perspective. What was the reasoning behind making the Obi-Wan a cat that turns into a hot chick? Whatever it was was definitely a stroke of genius, its one of the most memorable elements in the entire show.
