| EngineerGamer 04/10/21 4:33:40 PM #7: | "chinese food" encompasses so fucking much it's like saying "european food" all i know is japanese food is shockingly bland and underwhelming, their restaurant scene is way too focused on presentation and refinement, their home-cooking is just whatever's in the fridge/pantry simmered in mirin and sake and soy sauce, and their street food is just fried whatever drizzled in mayo. fuck that whole cuisine. korean and thai are the best imo, nice tastebud-punching flavors and intensities ...
