I was in a house in the area where it snows and walked near a window, only to see 85 deadites a few yards away (this is always a WTF moment). When one of 'em saw me with their excellent vision, I sprinted the other way through the house, then ducked through another house, then finally around a third house. Eventually had enough of a lead that they just gave up the chase....camping right in the yard of that runaway girl I was supposed to find. Gee, thanks. Luckily, I solved that problem by dying; they despawned afterwards. Been keeping more of an eye out now, knowing hordes are still showing up and they just wander around the county like brainless idiots. Hanging around the mountains reminds me of FC5 a bit, although that gameplay feels a little "floatier" and this one has enough silly realism that it feels more grounded.
