I support vaccine passports for certain things, such as events/activities that would otherwise be a superspreader atmosphere. People need to understand that this vaccine passport shouldn't have to be permanent. It should be in place until we reach herd immunity, and then maybe we don't need it anymore.

We are all already restricted from things like concerts and events for the most part. Vaccine passports would help those events and activities start to open up safely, while not putting people at risk of passing COVID.

People who don't want to get the vaccine or can't get the vaccine can participate once we reach herd immunity. Those of us who are willing to get the vaccine should be able to start getting our lives back to normal once we are fully vaccinated.

I don't think the passport should be able to be used everywhere or by any business. Grocery stores and businesses shouldn't be allowed to restrict people from going into stores, however there should still be mask mandates to protect those who are not vaccinated.

For certain travel, a vaccine passport could help also. Hawaii, for example, requires a negative COVID test within 72 hours of your departure. I think a vaccine passport should be added so you can travel to places like this and not have to get a negative test. Then, people who haven't been vaccinated, can still travel if they provide a negative covid test.
