| UshiromiyaEva 04/06/21 12:42:06 AM #107: | For a season I really had no expectations of, fairly blown away so far. Vivy is the clear frontrunner, though an hour premier is cheating. I had no idea how much talent was behind it until after it aired. Odd Taxi would be the number 1 so far otherwise, I haven't been sucked in by a unfettered desire to figure out what the hell is going on in a show like this in a long time. Mars Red came out of nowhere, I thought this was gonna be a huge stinker but it's atmospheric as hell. Only thing is I don't think the first episode is going to be very representative of what this show is from the sounds of things. Dynazenon is absolutely more Gridman, which means it's going to be one of the best shows of the year. Combatants Will Be Dispatched needs to work on a little scene/animation pacing here and there but it's definitely still got that Konusyba DNA. At the very least this is already a hell of a lot better than that animal wrestling crap. Joran seems iffy. I actually did have high expectations for this one but I don't know yet. I'll still give it a chance. Higehiro (this airing the same season as Kokimo is hilarious, and that shows crap is gonna be mistakenly mixed with this I'm sure of it) was surprisingly solid, I dunno if it'll stick but this season doesn't have a lot of SoL so I'm going to see how it goes. I haven't watched Megalobox or Thunderbolt yet because those are roomate shows. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
