Oh hey I had that experience too. 500 SQ on Kama with no 5*s. Woo. I actually wanted her more than later servants though.
Ouch. Sorry to hear that. >_<

For my part, it's less that I missed on Kama (granted given the resources I put in my odds were north of 50%, but not by all that much) and more that for the first real time I got tilted by the rolls being just so bad and went over the limit I set for myself at the start and may have put my plans for the year in serious jeopardy. I had felt pretty good about them before the event given where I was at and now it could become an unmitigated disaster depending on the luck of the gacha.

Technically speaking, I think this is the biggest dud of a banner I've had so far in terms of resources spent so I guess this is my first "the real gacha starts here" moment and I've been fortunate up until now but argh I just wish it didn't happen a month before Case Files. Of all the times to lose composure.

Current trying to trick myself into believing the gambler's fallacy and that this just means the Case Files banner will go relatively painlessly and I can remain in good position for Merlin this summer. Worst-case scenario is I miss on Reines entirely (I'm thinking I'll be going in with just shy of 600 SQ as a conservative estimate, but tickets will definitely put me effectively a bit above that, but statistically that still isn't a great place to be) in which case you will find me inconsolable in a month's time lol. Especially because if I'm emptied out I'll be in a really bad position to recover in time for Merlin so it'll just snowball from there.

...It's a shame because it's put a bit of a damper on the actual event which I'm actually quite enjoying!
