You are giving him too much credit. Phil has ni creativity, no original thought, no problem solving skills, no object permanence, no awareness, etc. When playing a game that has a character creator, he willl always make a character that looks like him. His commentary has always been him describing what is happening on screen, long before SuperBlindMan came along. He is unable to carry a conversation. When asked (in the past) stuff like "who is your favourite Jedi" he answered something along the lines of: "it's not real, so who cares". He cannot banter either, proven by the Apex Legends streams where he played with his viewers.
