Access to credit needs to be improved. The bank said my credit wasn't good enough to afford 1200 / month mortgage for a house, so I rent for 1700 / month.

if you remove people from owning homes for the sole purpose of collecting rent, what happens to apartment complexes? If you think about it, those are really just big ass homes, and are needed in higher population density areas. Even if you break up the apartments similar to how you can own a condo, who takes care of the overall lot?

I bring up apartment complexes, because many of them are run by big corporations who have multiple complexes as well.
