It and 2005 had the lowest votals (nothing was beating RE4 in 2005, no matter how popular/unpopular my tournament was back then) That and admittedly while a unique idea, the previous nominating style looking back was a bit farfetched. For those unfamiliar, I used to run Game of the Month polls. The top 3 every month would get a spot in the GotY tournament with the monthly winner being guaranteed no lower than a 3 seed. It was weird seeing Brain Age get a 3 seed only to get knocked off by a Splinter Cell game in round 1. I stopped doing the GotM polls when I began retroactive tournaments.
