Some good surprises there, and a couple unusual ones (I love Spyro but never seen it on GOTY lists, and Prince of Persia and Rocket League seem like oddball choices). This board sure does love its Smash! Prince of Persia stunned top seeded Wind Waker to get an easy route to the finals and then knocked off Knights of the Old Republic. Spyro 2 was a crazy anomaly getting wins over Smash and FF8. Rocket League was pretty popular here in 2015 and just happened to have things fall in place for it to win.
