Took a day off to do other things, thank you for your patience. Lets take a look at Theodor Bastard - Volchya Yagoda Album.

Theodor Bastard - Flute Song: Not bad for an ambient type of song, though it didnt really inspire any specific feelings. Nice enough to listen to though, probably 60 points.

Theodor Bastard - Shumi: 58 points? Its nice.

Theodor Bastard - Skejgored: 56 points. Its still nice, though slightly less so.

Theodor Bastard - Urzala: Not as into the rhythmic chanting on this song, though its certainly different enough that I appreciate the nomination. Leaning 55 points to start, though it seems like the type of thing that would grow on me over time by virtue of being different & mysterious & a significant break from anything else nominated.

Theodor Bastard - Les: Ooh, the best song thus far. 68 points; very shadowy and mysterious, would listen to again on a different day.

Lets take a break from that album for a bi and go back to that Chrono Trigger Jazz album, Ive been slowly picking at.

...also Im not sure why Im listing the album instead of the artist this time, but I apparently did that and dont feel like rewriting the following.

Chronology - Way Before the Day Before Yesterday: Not bad, but it didnt leave much of an impression. Probably mid-50s.

Chronology - Triggernometry: There are a few sections here I rather like, but theyre stretched out across a 7 and a half minute long song and the parts I feel nothing towards greatly outnumber the bits that I like. Leaning 51 points? I like it some amount, but theres not over seven minutes worth of enjoyment here.

Chronology - Nuega, Ziena, Zieber, Zom...: Kinda dull. Probably a high. 40s type song? Like I dont actively dislike it, but the song doesnt feel like it does anything until close to the four minute mark. I guess the song is good once we reach that point, but not that good that it makes up for the tedium of the early parts.

Chronology - Fight or Flight: Another low 50s song. Its fine, but by this point in the album, you kinda know what youre getting and it doesnt really do much to differentiate itself from the other songs.

Chronology - When Hell Freezes Over: Eh. Exactly 50 points, I suppose. It exists.

Chronology - Driftwood: A noted improvement over the last few songs, though Im still not really into it. 53 points, well say.

...Well, there werent any real standout songs, but I didnt actively dislike any of the album. It was fine.

Moving along to the song from post #215 before I lost track of where it is:

Rene - Home: i love the melody and the instruments, but Im still not really into her singing... 57 points, Im thinking?
