The r34 stuff she admitted to just liking it, and the Shark/Gura thing was just her attempt at originality backfiring so she decided to just run with it anyway. She originally commissioned a generic shrine maiden girl then she ended up liking some girl from Idolmaster with shark teeth and that's how she ended up going to the Shark theme.
