Topic	Final Fantasy IX's ending hits so hard. (Heavy spoilers)

She says that the greed clouding her heart finally lifted, apologizes, and then dies. Garnet also mentions losing another mother as a big reason why she's so upset about it. Honestly though? I didn't love that plot point, personally. Brahne spent the entire game as an absolute monster and attempted genocide while conquering the world.
