The final two arcs and the movie for Bodacious Space Pirates were all anime-original content, and those were honestly the best parts of the anime. I don't know if it was better than where the story would have gone if it stuck to the light novel (because I just generally don't read manga or light novels) but I at least know that it was significantly better than the early part of the series that originally followed the source. --- "Someday I too will fly... and find you again!" https://imgur.com/ORhDSgu ...
