Ray tracing absolutely is worth it, especially since dlss does such a good job of offsetting the performance differential. RTX absolutely transforms Cyberpunk 2077, and games like Control are so much better with it.

But for people who play online, they're going to turn off RT because of the FPS hit.

And plenty of folks play CP2077 & Control without it just fine.

You see how Spiderman: Miles Morales implemented RT on the PS5, that's the level of RT I expect this generation of consoles & games to use at most. Anything beyond that won't really matter since alot of games target Consoles first and are working on AMD hardware.

Only select games are nVIDIA RTX sponsered, so that's going to be a limited selection in the grand scheme of games.

So if you're that loyal to nVIDIA, go right on ahead and buy their cards.

The rest of us won't care and will just enjoy whatever cards we get, even if it's AMD.
