I met someone at 19 that I thought was gonna be my wife. We broke up when I was 27 over a lie her friend started to this day, I have no idea why she started. Only trouble we had was she was from another country and she had to go back for a year with no end in sight. I met a girl around that time that became a close friend but her best friend convinced her I was cheating on her with supposed eye witness accounts. For the record I wasnt attracted to this girl at all, she was just some gamer chick I met that I hung with when I was with a group of people.

She was inconsolable and her co-worker who was simping over her that past year saw blood in the water and went for it. They been together for the past almost 10 years far as I know, meanwhile Im 36 and havent found the next one yet.

I had absolutely no regrets, proposed and everything. I could definitely see how people can get together early on and stick together for their whole lives. For me though, I just think that if I could break up with her, I could break up with anyone, so now Im pretty apprehensive about getting serious with anyone these days. But when youre with your first love, its like everything is just right.
