| Topic | Ever lose a shit ton of progress on a game and just quit it? |
| Grand Kirby 01/24/21 9:23:46 PM #17: | There have been times where I've been playing a Civilization game for a few hours and then get dragged into a long and bad war that, even if I win it, cripples my production so badly I have no chance of winning the game and just quit the whole thing. On the other hand, when I first played Final Fantasy 9 I had my save erased halfway through Disc 2 three times in a row and I still kept returning to it... Very recently I was playing an RPG where I was grinding for a rare drop and was like "I'll check this next area" and in the back of my head I was thinking how bad it would be if there was an automatic cutscene in that area that would force a boss fight but dismissed it as being completely unlikely since it was just an unassuming random area that I had been in before... and there was an automatic cutscene that forced a boss fight. I technically didn't lose any progress but I was so ticked off I stopped playing for two days. --- Okay, I rolled a 14. What's that mean? Hsu That you're a cheater. This is a 12-sided die. Chan ...
