What happened in it?

Healin' Good has been pretty messed up (at least by Precure standards) but the past few weeks especially so.

*SPOILERS obviously*

Necessary backstory from earlier episodes: The three generals of the main villain, King Byogen, were "born" from mutated viruses and "incubated" inside normal human beings who stayed alive but were very sick. Nodoka, the lead Precure in this series, was very sick as a child and it was revealed later that she was the "host" for one of the evil generals, Daruizen. Unrelated, but I'd also like to remind you guys of the absolutely horrible timing that an actual real-life global pandemic hit the same year that Toei decided to do a Precure series themed around healing and evil viruses.

Two episodes ago: Guaiwaru (one of the other generals) accidentally leaves a portal to the Byogen kingdom open, the Precure manage to infiltrate and "purify" the final boss a few episodes earlier than expected. Celebration time, right?

Last episode: Guaiwaru goes full "all according to keikaku" (TL note: keikaku means plan) and says that he wanted the Precures to defeat King Byogen so he could be the new king. He absorbs some of the remaining power from King Byogen and also powers himself up with like 30 mega parts, then absolutely fucking curbstomps the Precures despite them outnumbering him 4-1. Daruizen (one of the other generals) doesn't give a fuck, and Shindoi-ne (the female general who was in love with King Byogen) is pissed off because her king is dead.

This episode: King Guaiwaru is back in the human world wreaking havoc, and the Precure manage to escape the Byogen Kingdom but get curbstomped when they try to fight him again. Just as King Guaiwaru is about to finish them off, he gets absorbed by King Byogen, who wasn't really dead, goes full "fuck your keikaku, mine's better" and manages to fully reincarnate by absorbing Guaiwaru's new powered-up form. He wants to absorb the other two generals to gain even more power, and Shindoi-ne offers herself up, but Daruizen is like "nope fuck that I want to live" and escapes badly wounded. He tries to go to the Precures for help and straight up asks Nodoka "give me your body, let me be inside you" to hide and keep himself safe.

Even beyond the weird story and the really bizarre dynamic between Nodoka and Daruizen, hearing the phrase "give me your body" in a franchise like this whose entire existence is dedicated to selling cheap plastic toys to little Japanese girls... it just feels really fucked up.
