I'd add Demon's Crest and Kirby's Dreamland 3 to the knockouts on the console list. That's a game I wish I enjoyed more. Beautiful art style & a lovely, laid-back OST that accompanies it perfectly... slow-as-all-hell level progression & a really bizarre 100% system. I mean the long-winded, often esoteric means of getting heart stars in every level is one thing, but then you beat the final boss & find out you're still only at 97% - and that you need to do all that to cover a measly 3%? It's Kirby so I still like it obvi but it felt like a bit of a step down from Super Star & maybe even Dream Land 2.
