On the flipside - having only played 1.5 hours of the first one between the two - I feel like seeing what happens at the end of II & spending the rest of the game playing as ~~Maxim's descendant~~ builds up a sense of mystique for the events leading up to it. Idk I'd have to finish both before officially commenting I guess. I feel playing the first one builds more impact when you move onto the second, because despite what you know, it's not the whole picture. Even Lufia 2 doesn't end exactly at the point Lufia 1 depicts.
