We need more tail wagging inducing songs up there anyway. [Not Final: Most of the lyrics arent my favorite, but I absolutely love the overall vibe the song gives off. Its got a soothing beat, a great singing voice, and I just kinda happily bounce around nodding my head and wagging my tail along it and this is such a happy place song and... ...You know what? Any tail wagging song gets an automatic hundred points. The odds that this wins are fairly low, but its not impossible. Incidentally, the reason I went with seven trips through the top 24 was to try and give this song as many chances to get a high placement as possible... but in the end, it still wasnt enough to overcome the deficit of two last place finishes. Well, it was enough to get it into the top ten and its placement seems to be floating around that general areaI did give it an 8th place finish recentlyso I suppose the system worked fine. Also, this is the last song in the raised over 500 rankings from the Initial Score camp. As Ive said, I tend to avoid serious topics, so you can kinda imagine exactly how well an album with references to rape, Hitler in a robe of truth, accidental drowning deaths of real people, childbirth, Jesus, and everything from T.B.D. went on my first attempt. There was a point in which I was taking a break after every song. Thankfully, first impressions dont really matter much and things started turning around by the revised trip. Once I was properly prepared for what the album was, I was able to start enjoying Eds vocals and there were quite a few fantastic songs.
