The cognitive dissonance and air of superiority from every vocal Trump supporter I've ever spoken to (granted, not a large sample size) is honestly shocking. The one Trumper lady I finally told off - for being openly racist and bigoted toward Hispanics - had asked me to commit tax fraud, admitted to committing tax fraud herself for years, and had hired and worked with an illegal immigrant for over a decade (but since it was a cute white guy from Italy, she saw no problem with it). This is their country and they're entitled to all of it, moral consistency be damned.

They're never going to change, either. It's just who they are. Rules for thee, not for me. Fuck you, got mine. Ect. Some of them might have been reasonable people once but they're too deep into the cult and backing out now would be admitting the depths of their failure.
