| red sox 777 01/11/21 7:27:50 PM #48: | The main reason you wouldn't want to convict Trump on impeachment is because people may see it is suppressing their vote for him in 2024, and that lowers confidence in democracy. But at this point, Trump has already lost an election, and the people who don't believe he lost show no signs of coming around to seeing that. Trump running in 2024 would be a disaster for our country and him winning would be terrifying.
