It is easily the best of the Donkey Kong Country games, and my favorite. The pirate setting is a lot of fun and Dixie is more fun to play than Donkey anyway. I am sure this game is on multiple other lists, so hopefully they will have something more interesting to say about it than I do. To me, it's just a good solid 2D platformer and probably the best thing Rare has ever done.
