Hey, AZKis on Spotify! Neat! I should listen to more of her songs on it later.

Either way, this isnt her best work, but its still a pretty good song. I always like seeing her again, even though shes never actually been one of my favorites and doesnt usually get very high scores, theres always some happiness from seeing her again.

[Final Thoughts: Good song from someone I like, so yeah, its pretty easy for it to get into the 70 point tier.]

(First Thoughts: I like FF8 and I like the lyrics; I dont think the song itself is as good as Bloody Rain, but theres a lot of bias in its favor.)

Well, I at least prefer the lyrics and subject matter of this song, but theyre still not exactly my favorite band and the song doesnt do much to change that opinion. Even with my natural bias towards FF8, this is still only really good as opposed to top tier.

....Much like FF8 itself actually; I love FF8, but its not in the absolute top tier of PSX RPGs (Suikoden 1 & 2 are the two best PSX-era RPGs and then I dont care to continue this list). I really like this, but its not even top tier for Unlucky Morpheus songs.

This song probably got lucky on the second listen because I was quite agitated at the time it was time to listen to it and it actually did help calm me down somewhat. Its not quite the most soothing song Ive ever run into, but it certainly does its job well enough and helped when it needed to.

[Final Thoughts: Simple and relaxing. Does its job quite well, if youre ever in the need for such a thing.]

Its probably just me, but part of the intro before he starts singing sounds like a slowed-down version of Everybodys Talkin by Harry Nilssson:

Danny Chan has a pleasing voice and its oddly nostalgic for a song I havent heard beforethe combination of it being a fairly old-fashioned type of song, reminding me of another old song, and a general familiarity with this era of cantopop (thanks to these topics) leads to it being...comfortingly familiar, in spite of being new to me.

[Final Thoughts: Pretty song. Prettier than the 60 point songs, but still not quite at that top tier of beauty... fairly close though.]
