Also why isn't he in a motorcade or have any security detail present? And can't Tails call him if they'd let him talk to the president by knocking on his window anyway? honestly, the juxtaposition of the plot of the game revolving around advanced biological experiments and decades-old space colonies and Tails in a motherfucking mech fighting robots on this shitty, contorted road highlights the corruption and inefficiencies plagueing this world. it seems that past success has blinded everybody to their present realities, and, sated by technology and convenient adorable box-animals, the populace has chosen to ignore the running of their society, allowing the military to run roughshod over civil and cultural rights, and the government to do essentially whatever they want, surely enabling great degrees of nepotism and criminal connections in all levels of the government. really, it's amazing that everything hasn't collapsed yet, and perhaps Eggman has a point. Maybe they need a fresh start, with somebody who is, if not competent, then intelligent, with a focused vision controlling the world. Who cares?. Can't say it was really worth it. The intro is by far the best part. It was cool for a bit around 2, but it's drowned out by so much of the rest being pure whatever Who cares?.
