| Esuriat 01/06/21 2:31:06 PM #112: | It should be noted that with the South African variant, the only certain part is that it may obviate some of the monoclonal antibody treatments. When they say it "partially" evades natural antibodies, they don't actually know how substantial that part is nor does T cell interaction come into play. There's only this preprint at the moment, so it's something to watch for. But typical for CNBC to pounce on a preprint and act like it's a countdown to the vaccines being useless.
